A Muncie man who had admitted to physically abusing a pregnant woman WAS to have been sentenced in Delaware Circuit Court. But 28-year-old Gerald L. Wortham failed to show up for the hearing. Wortham in February pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury to a pregnant woman. That’s a Level 5 felony with a standard three-year prison term. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
