Mounds Mall in Anderson will cease operations on April 1. The Cook family says the closing comes after 53 years due to changes in economic conditions for some brick and mortar stores. Mounds Mall lost a major tenant when Carson’s packed up earlier in the year. The Mounds Mall 10 Theatre and Dr. David Tavel’s office will remain open because they have exterior entrances.
