Golf Carts Soon To Be Legal On MadCo Roads

Madison County commissioners have approved the use of golf carts on county roads along with several safety requirements. The new ordinance will require use of seat belts, working headlights, taillights & turn signals. The operator must have a valid driver’s license, and no more than four passengers and no children under the age of 3. The ordinance will take effect in April.
