A Muncie man, who was shot by police after taking off from a traffic stop and refusing police orders, has had his convictions upheld in state appeals court. 55 year-old William Jackson Jr. was found guilty of aggravated battery and aiding, inducing or causing dealing in heroin. Jackson had been pulled over by police and sped away as an officer stood by his van.
