Auto Parts Expansion Will Mean New Jobs For Area

New jobs in the area could be just a short drive away. A German auto parts company is planning a $23 million expansion of its Fort Wayne factory that it says will create about 120 new jobs. ElringKlinger makes automotive cylinder and head gaskets, components for lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells. The company plans to add $20.6 million in manufacturing, logistics and information technology equipment to its Fort Wayne plant as part of the expansion.
