A walk in the bitter cold with a young child in tow landed a New Castle woman in trouble. Police say 40 year old April Long was cuffed January 6th after police got reports of her walking with a small girl in sub zero temperatures. Callers also said she appeared highly intoxicated. The girl is the daughter of Long’s boyfriend. Police say the girl’s face appeared red from the cold and wind burned.
