Extreme cold temperatures overnight resulted in an external public fiber optic line freezing and breaking at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. As a result, they’re working on the problem. In the meantime, The hospital is open and operating, the Emergency Department is open and taking patients, and our Muncie physician practices, Imaging Center and Cancer Center are rescheduling patients on a case-by-case basis.
