Groups Push For Cigarette Tax Increase

If you’re a smoker, you could be paying more for cigarettes. The American Cancer Society & Tobacco-Free Indiana are pushing for the General Assembly to pass a $1.50 raise on the state cigarette tax. A spokesperson says they hope legislators will consider the option.
