Just one person was home when a fire gutted a house Thursday morning in Muncie. It happened on the 2000 block of South Rosemont Avenue. The call came in at about 10:30am. When crews got there, the homeowner was standing outside. She told investigators she was cooking when the fire started and that it engulfed a large portion of the interior of the home. No injuries reported.
