An Elwood police officer has been suspended with no pay for 20 days. He has also lost the use of his take-home patrol car for a year – after allegedly failing to report an accident involving his patrol car in a timely fashion. The Herald Bulletin reports that the Elwood Board of Public Works and Safety approved the disciplinary action against Officer William J. Maluvac.
