Filing for this year’s election has been dominated in the early going by candidates for Delaware County sheriff. The incumbent, Sheriff Ray Dudley filed first. Charles Richmond II, an ex-police officer and currently chief deputy auditor, filed to challenge Dudley in the Democratic Party primary. Also filing, County Clerk Mike King, Center Township Trustee Marilyn Kay Walker, County Auditor Steve Craycraft and Delaware County Council member Chris Matchett.
