Challenges In Indiana General Assembly Seats

Longtime members of the Indiana General Assembly are facing a challenge in the upcoming Democratic Party primary election. According to the Herald Bulletin, Ollie H. Dixon, a member of the Anderson city council since 1991, has filed to oppose incumbent State Sen. Tim Lanane for the District 25 seat in the Indiana Senate. Rebecca Crumes, serving her first term in an at-large seat on the Anderson city council, has filed to oppose incumbent Terri Austin for the District 36 seat in the Indiana House.
