More work is coming for that plan to create a city ambulance service. A majority of council members, during a Monday night meeting, voted to introduce an ordinance creating a Muncie Emergency Medical Service. They had heard from fire officials that it would mean better service and faster response. They do want to see more specifics of the plan, however.
