Governor Eric J. Holcomb has directed flags in Delaware County be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset today, to honor Hamilton Township volunteer firefighter Jeffery Blackmer, who died in the line of duty. The 42-year-old Albany man died of a sudden illness last week after he and his colleagues battled a barn fire. His funeral is set for 11 this morning.
