HTVFC Mourns Loss Of Fellow Firefighter

Family, friends and fire departments from all over the state are grieving the loss of Hamilton Township Volunteer firefighter Jeffery Alan Blackmer. The 42-year-old died Wednesday at the fire station, just hours after he helped battle an early morning barn fire. Blackmer was pronounced dead at the scene. His death appears to be “cardiac-related” and is being considered “in the line of duty”.
