This Saturday marks the official kick off to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in Muncie. The goal is to raise $160,000 for programs and services next year. Organizers point out the money goes much deeper than just toys at Christmas time. Saturday’s event is at 12:30pm at the Muncie Mall center court and Mayor Dennis Tyler will put the first dollar into a Red Kettle.
