Anderson Okays $2 Million In Tax Abatements

Residential tax abatement for almost $2 million in new home construction in Anderson has been approved by the City Council. The Herald Bulletin reports that the council has granted six three-year tax abatements and one for six years. The abatements are part of a program started in the 1980s and extended annually by the City council.
