An armed robbery, a high-speed pursuit, a manhunt and an apprehension: Two Fort Wayne men are in custody this morning after the armed robbery of a Daleville gas station and a chase along I-69 from Delaware into Grant County that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour. The suspects ditched the car at the SR 26 exit and were able to remain undetected until Wednesday morning. That’s what prompted the closure of Eastbrook Schools for the day and Taylor University was placed on lockdown. The two suspects are well known to authorities in Allen County.
