Settlement Reached In Anderson Discrimination, Harrassment Suit

A $70,000 settlement has been reached in a federal lawsuit alleging discrimination and sexual harassment by employees of the Anderson Housing Authority. The agreement calls for the housing authority in the central Indiana community to compensate seven victims of discrimination identified by the U.S. Department of Justice. The lawsuit alleged discrimination against tenants with disabilities and sexual harassment of female tenants. The housing authority still denies the allegations.
