Indiana state Sen. Doug Eckerty says he won’t run for another term in 2018. The Yorktown Republican made the announcement in a statement Tuesday. Eckerty did not indicate why he is ruling out another run. But the senator says he is looking forward to spending more time with his time with his family, including his grandkids. Eckerty says he will finish out the remainder of his term representing Madison, Delaware and Henry counties.
