Purdue University says an alumnus and veteran university administrator will guide its Fort Wayne campus while it transitions away from shared governance with Indiana University. Purdue announced Thursday that Ronald Elsenbaumer will become the next chancellor of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, succeeding Vicky Carwein. The trained chemist currently is senior advisor for entrepreneurship and economic development to the president at the University of Texas at Arlington.
