AEP To Upgrade Muncie/Anderson Transmission Lines

Indiana Michigan Power plans to invest about $48 million to improve the electric transmission system in East Central Indiana. The Muncie-Anderson Transmission Line Rebuild Project is needed to reduce power outages and speed recovery of service when outages do occur. Construction is expected to start in the fall of 2018 and to be completed by the spring of 2020.
