A Tuesday morning crash on Muncie’s west side sent two people to the hospital. The crash happened on White River Boulevard east of Hawthorne Road. According to police, a car driven by 76-year old Zora Clevenger of Yorktown crossed the center line and hit a van head-on. The driver of the van, 62-year old Mark Gaither, had to be cut from the vehicle by firefighters. Both men were taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
