A jury determines a Muncie man did not attack his ex-girlfriend with a cooking grill. 23-year-old Clayvern Jernigan had been charged with aggravated battery and other counts. When arrested police said Jernigan hit the victim in the face, knocking her unconscious during an incident at a home at 16th Street and Meeker Avenue.
