Judge Won’t Remove Yorktown Clerk

Yorktown’s clerk-treasurer will not be removed despite efforts by the state to get her out. The Star Press reports a Delaware County judge made the decision Tuesday. Prosecutors tried to remove Beth Neff citing negligence in handling the town’s finances. A hearing on the matter had been held late last week.
