Female Inmate Dies Of Natural Causes

The coroner says she dies of natural causes. That’s the ruling in the death of an Alexandria woman while in custody at the Madison County Jail. County Coroner Marian Dunnichay says an enlarged heart and other ailments were responsible for the death of 56-year-old Loretta Neese. The woman was found unresponsive in a holding cell July 26.
