The Court of Appeals has upheld the conviction of an Anderson man who claimed a four-year trial delay violated his right to a speedy trial. The appeals court disagreed, however, ruling that the man himself was responsible for the majority of delays. The Herald Bulletin reports that Rodriques Johnson was sentenced to 10 years in prison for arson.
