A vote that could end financing for the local needle exchange program could be delayed. County Council has been considering a bill that says no money from grants or donations of monetary value could be used for the needle exchange program. According to the Herald Bulletin, lawmakers are being asked to approve a $15,000 appropriation that is used by the Madison County Health Department for supplies for the needle exchange program, other than the purchase of syringes
