$35k To Help Open A Downtown Distillery

The city of Anderson is providing a $35,000 grant to Oakley Brothers to help open the downtown distillery and brewery in September. According to the Herald Bulletin, the Anderson Board of Public Works has approved the grant from the city’s share of food and beverage tax revenues. The Oakley Brothers are renovating the former law offices on the northeast corner of Eighth and Jackson streets.
