A Muncie man who ran from police got taken down not by a Taser or a K-9, but by his Achilles tendon. Police say Brian Watson robbed three convenience stores in three hours early Wednesday morning. Then, he made a run for it. When officers caught up with him, he jumped a fence — but instead of sticking the landing, he tore his Achilles. Watson had surgery and is recovering.
