Andrew Tate was the winner of the Indiana Governor’s Cup in at the Madison Regatta over the holiday weekend. Tate’s U-9 boat beat out the hometown favorite Miss Madison piloted by Jimmy Shane in the final stages of the race. Governor Eric Holcomb, who is from nearby Hanover, was also there for the race. He calls it an “important event” to the state.
