A seat opening up on the MCS school board as member-elect Stephen Edwards steps down to join the emergency management team for the district. That will happen in the next 10 to 14 days. There may be some action on the move at the July 11th board meeting, but in the meantime, the firm handling the emergency management tasks say there is no conflict of interest.
