Muncie’s building commissioner is facing a new charge this morning. Federal prosecutors have added a new charge of wire fraud against Craig Nichols. Nichols is now charged with 17 counts of wire fraud, one count of theft of government funds and 16 counts of money laundering for a total of 34 charges in U.S. District Court. Nichols’ trial date is set for Dec. 11
