Judge To Decide Fate Of Yorktown Clerk

It’s up to the judge. The fate of Yorktown Clerk-Treasurer Beth Neff is in the hands of Circuit Court 1 Judge Marianne Vorhees. The judge has taken under advisement a complaint filed July 12 by Delaware County Prosecutor Jeffrey Arnold, seeking to have Neff removed from office “for misfeasance and nonfeasance.” Her attorney argued that the action by the town is a political maneuver.
