How Cancelled Nuptials Translated To Feast For The Homeless In Indiana

An Indiana woman didn’t want to her canceled $30,000 wedding to go to waste, so she turned it into a dinner party for the homeless. About a dozen veterans from a local organization were among the guests Saturday at the posh event center that Sarah Cummins had originally booked for the reception in suburban Indianapolis. Several local businesses and residents also donated suits, dresses and other items for the guests to wear.
