Henry County In Crosshairs For Sewage Pollution

The state of Indiana has taken action against Henry County after complaints of sewage polluting a creek, residential properties and the grounds of a swimming pool. The Star Press reports the Indiana Department of Environmental Management filed a notice of violation after inspectors saw sewage flowing in the White Estates subdivision in New Castle. County Commissioner Kim Crock says the county is working with the city to try to find a resolution. Cronk says “funding is always the issue.”
