A former employee of the company that publishes the Star Press is being investigated on charges of embezzlement. 45-year-old Steven Lam has been charged with theft after he allegedly took more than 185-thousand dollars. Lam is reported to have provided police with documentation that he is liquidating his retirement account to reimburse the company.
