A former state senator will lead the commission studying Indiana’s alcohol laws. Greenfield Republican Bev Gard will lead a 17-member commission created to make recommendations on changes from who can sell cold beer to Sunday sales. Eight legislators have already been named to the panel — leaders still have to appoint six members from outside the statehouse.
