Pulling In The Reigns On Teen Abortions

A federal judge has blocked portions of a new Indiana law’s that make it tougher for girls under age 18 to get an abortion without their parents’ knowledge. U.S. District Court Judge Sarah Evans Barker on Wednesday approved a temporary injunction blocking three sections of the law that takes effect July 1. She expressed skepticism about some of those sections during June 13 arguments on the request.
