World Environment Day is coming up on Monday and the Muncie Public Library and Muncie Sanitary District have plans to mark the occasion. There will be an event at Kennedy Library from 4-6 p.m. featuring environmental information, free reusable tote bags, seed planting activities, and more. Library officials say they hope to lead by example in terms of making eco-friendly choices, and they engaged the MSD to join them in the effort.
