Ingalls To Select New Marshal; Town Mgr Will Not Press Charges

Ingalls officials will interview six prospective town marshals this week to fill the department’s top spot after former marshal Rick Martin retired in March. The Herald Bulletin reports that the town hopes to hire a marshal at the next town council meeting, which is scheduled for Monday. Also in Ingalls, Town Manager Tim Millikan says he will not press charges against former councilwoman Dusty Smith after an argument outside a town council meeting where he alleges he was threatened with violence. It is an apparent case of he said/she said after the two argued over a rezoning issue.
