A historic structure in Anderson’s downtown will be demolished. An1800s carriage house has been deemed as unsafe by the Anderson Municipal Development Department. The multi-story building, on an alley between Tenth and Eleventh Streets, is collapsing. The Anderson Historic & Cultural Preservation Commission will not oppose the demolition.
