More than 230 acres of farmland in Huntington County have sold at auction for nearly $1.7 million. Wabash-based Halderman Services, who handled the auction, says the highest price paid per acre was $1.2 million for 154 acres. The sale of the majority of the acreage came to just under 8-thousand dollars per acre.
