Alexandria Clerk-Treasurer To Be Elected Tonight

Alexandria will have a new clerk-treasurer this evening. A special election is to take place at 6 p.m. at the Bob Rogers Center.  Jill Scott appears to be poised to slip into the position, amid rumors that the only other candidate, James Janes, may concede to her before the first vote is cast.
