A 14-year-old boy has admitted to Anderson police that he shot a 5-year-old in the back of the head. Bentley Chesnut was shot while riding in a golf cart with his mother late last week. After rushing him to the hospital, a cat scan revealed a small projectile imbedded in the boy’s head. Surgeons won’t operate. They say it’s too close to his brain stem. Police are still conducting their investigation to determine whether the shooting was intentional.
