Clearing of trees along the Cardinal Greenway trail near Muncie is causing some controversy. It was done along several hundred yards of the walking and biking trail near Ind. 28. The contractor involved took out trees and bushes and took heavy equipment on the property. The property owner and that contractor reportedly talked by phone about the situation and the contractor agreed to do no more.
