Redevelopment is moving along in Yorktown. A bid was accepted to sell town hall during last month’s meeting of Town Council. EK Property LLC is buying it for a half-million dollars, the only bid the town received. Right now town hall holds some offices and the police department and public meeitng hall. The town will lease space back from the new owner for an undetermined amount of time. Police will move its operations int othe old Lions Club building and it is being upgraded to handle its new tenants.
