Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection is in the works for Marsh Supermarkets. The chain was founded in Muncie in 1931 and company officials say its 44 stores will continue normal operations during the bankruptcy process. Earlier this week, the company had announced that 16 locations would close unless buyers could be found for them within sixty days.
