A jury deliberated for about three hours before finding Gregory Bruce Grider Jr. guilty of trying to kill two Delaware County sheriff’s deputies. The 29-year-old Muncie man – maintained he was trying to commit “suicide-by-cop” when approached by the deputies on arrest warrants and said he wasn’t going back to jail. The Star Press says his sentencing has been set for June 5th.
