A plea for clemency from a Muncie woman who pleaded guilty to attempted murder. Pamela Jo Rhodes is now 43 years old. In January of 2007, she copped a plea to attempted murder, burglary and battery with a deadly weapon. She stabbed a 25 year old pregnant woman in the back who reportedly planned to tell police Rhodes had stolen money from her. She was sentenced to 30 years behind bars. The Indiana Parole Board is scheduled to conduct a hearing on Rhodes’ request for clemency at the Rockville Correctional Facility on May 5. The panel will then make a recommendation to the governor.
